YouthLead selected 22 young changemakers from a pool of over 600 applicants to lead, engage and support various social change and positive youth development activitites as YouthLead Ambassadors. Four Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni were selected: 2018 Fellows Jacmen Kouakou (Cote d’Ivoire) and Owen Okoko (Congo) and 2019 Fellows Zayithwa Fabiano (Malawi) and Dennis Denaya (South Sudan).
