Aaron Mwewa

2015 Fellow from Zambia

Aaron Mwewa, a Pan-Africanist, is an award-winning practitioner of communication for development who has worked at the community, national, and international levels. He is skilled in community and resource mobilization, as well as providing media-related training and developing content for various media outlets. Aaron has worked for the National Assembly of Zambia for more than 10 years and has been sent on attachment three times to the Pan-African Parliament. Based in South Africa, the Pan-African Parliament is an extension of the African Union and draws its representation from all of the member states of the African Union. Aaron has also worked on a number of U.S. Agency for International Development programs. A free-spirited lover of humanity, Aaron is a 2015 recipient of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders.
