Adam Zahn

Adam is the associate director of Global Engagement and Strategic Initiatives in the Office of Global Engagement and Education Abroad. In this capacity, he works with faculty to develop and strengthen their international research goals. He facilitates a variety of faculty and staff professional development opportunities through global learning communities, faculty forums, and workshops throughout the year. He also manages the Global Classroom program, in which faculty connect with international partners to bring their students together through project-based, collaborative learning activities. He has presented and published on the “global classroom” at numerous domestic and international conferences, helping Drexel to receive recognition for this work. Adam is a co-director of Drexel's Mandela Washington Fellowship institute. His research focuses on models of civic engagement education and community development, teaching courses in Haiti and Philadelphia.
