Biniam Yayehyirad Kitaw is a technology and development professional with more than 10 years of experience. He is currently the country manager of Camara Education Ethiopia, an international non-governmental organization dedicated to delivering real impact through technology. He believes that education is the key to alleviating poverty, and that technology can radically improve education. As such, Biniam works to support schools in Ethiopia with information and communications technology integration in education. Biniam is also interested in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, as well as the potential of those technologies to solve developing countries' unique problems. Biniam holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Physics and Engineering from the University of Montpellier in France. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Biniam aspires to see every student in Ethiopia uplifted thanks to technology.
