Carroline Achieng Odera

2017 Fellow from Kenya

Carroline Odera has over five years of experience in promoting environmental entrepreneurship and conservation, specifically working in the Lake Victoria region, Kenya. Currently, Carroline is the founder of WISE (Women in Sustainable Enterprises), where she focuses on initiating, designing and implementing programs that empower women through sustainable businesses. Carroline holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and is pursuing a Masters in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi. She is driven by her commitment to women's social and economic empowerment and hopes to see self-sufficient communities led by women. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Carroline will continue with her work in empowering women economically through sustainable communities.
