Sylvie Enyonam Mensah has six years of experience helping her community on terminal-illness issues, which lead to the first palliative-care association in Togo. Sylvie also works in the youth-education sector. While working as admissions officer and registrar, she also currently mentors young children in education, especially those in ghettos and/or whose parents are in detention. She is also an active volunteer on various projects such as artisan training and construction of facilities such as a library for teenagers in detention in her country. Sylvie has a degree in Accountancy and Management and has worked as an accountant in both business and education. Nevertheless, she has a very varied professional background. After the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Sylvie wants to continue her work with the needy and disadvantaged people, with a focus on child education.
