Grace C. Baba has more than five years of experience working as a public health practitioner in Liberia. She is the founder and executive director of the Girls of Destiny Purity Organization. This all-girls initiative empowers girls to remain abstinent until marriage through skills training and business programs that allow them to be self-supporting and to contribute to the growth of their country's economy. In addition, Grace is an entrepreneur who founded a company called Genezer Snacks, which produces heart-healthy crunchy peanut snacks. Grace holds a bachelor's degree in Public Health. She is committed to empowering girls to become skilled, educated, and innovative young women capable of contributing to their society. On completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Grace plans to use the knowledge she has gained to advance her initiatives with the girls of Liberia by building a skills training center and confectionary company.
