Kouassi Jacmen Kouakou

2018 Fellow from Cote d'Ivoire

Jacmen Kouakou has more than 11 years of experience in project and business administration management, youth education, and governance advocacy. Currently, Jacmen is a project researcher consultant at Reboot, where he analyzes the obstacles and benefits of participatory budgeting in the communes of Côte d’Ivoire. He also volunteers at Corruption Quitte Ma Cité, a non-profit he founded in 2017 to promote transparency, democracy, and good governance and to push back against corruption. Jacmen holds a master’s degree in English Language Studies. He is committed to promoting democratic governance and transparency, which he strongly believes will pave the way to sustainable development. Jacmen credits the Mandela Washington Fellowship, which he received in 2018, with developing his leadership skills and strengthening his professional connections.
