Olugbenga Olusegun Ogunbowale

Olugbenga Ogunbowale has more than six years’ experience in communications and social entrepreneurship. Currently, Olugbenga is chief executive officer at Epower.ng, a digital agency that builds websites, apps, and digital solutions for businesses and trains youth to accelerate the application of digital skills for economic prosperity across Africa. Olugbenga is also founder of The Orphan Empowerment Society, a nongovernmental organization working to end orphan poverty in Africa. It has provided more than 20,000 orphans vocational skills, medical care, and food. Olugbenga has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Obafemi Awolowo University and earned postgraduate certificates from Northwestern University, IE Business School, and the University of Geneva. A 2019 Mandela Washington Fellow, Olugbenga is committed to empowering the most vulnerable young people with skills and resources that will pull them out of poverty and allow them to create wealth. He credits the Mandela Washington Fellowship with accelerating his social impact by giving him access to a strong network of outstanding young leaders across Africa, new knowledge in social entrepreneurship, and mentorship from global leaders.
