Patrick Mugiraneza has more than six years of experience in agriculture and development. He is currently an assistant lecturer at the University of Rwanda, where he teaches agricultural development policy and information and communication technology in agriculture. He also volunteers with a number of youth-led organizations, providing support in shaping their strategic directions. Patrick holds a master's degree in sustainable agriculture and food security from the Royal Agricultural University in the United Kingdom and is currently pursuing a PhD at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. He is committed to creating sustainable community solutions that use agriculture to lift Africans out of poverty. Patrick credits the Mandela Washington Fellowship for giving him an opportunity to craft his personal leadership style and to network with like-minded people across the world.
