Salissou Mahamane Mourtala has more than 12 years of experience in business administration. Currently, he is assistant manager at the Orano Group, where he focuses on supply chain management and health safe environment correspondence. He is also president of a youth communal council in Niger and works closely with the municipal council. Salissou holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration. He is committed to promoting good governance, fighting corruption, empowering youth and women, and engaging in politics. Salissou credits the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, which he received in 2018, with providing him strong public administration experience, tools that have helped him work with the municipal council, and the confidence to become a candidate in Niger’s 2020 municipal elections.
