Solomon Desalegn Ambaw has more than five years of experience in healthcare. Currently, Solomon is co-founder and business development manager at Lifeline Addis Home Based Healthcare Services. The company has become one of Ethiopia's leading comprehensive home care providers, with services including home COVID-19 testing and treatment. Solomon is also a senior associate at Innova Healthcare Consultancy and a country representative for Tesfa Ethiopia, a charity organization based in the United States that works to improve children's education in Ethiopia. He holds a medical degree and a Master of Arts in Project Management and Finance, and is motivated to improve the healthcare sector in Ethiopia and Africa. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Solomon plans to use his new skills and network to expand his home care service to all regional capitals of Ethiopia and to three African countries within five years.
