Vandana Boolell is a business development executive at Temple Group, a multidisciplinary firm focusing primarily on legal, financial and professional training services in Mauritius. In her current role at the firm, she focuses on creating and developing business opportunities for the firm and has assisted with the establishment of a number of strategic domestic as well as cross border partnerships leading to positive impact for the business. Vandana believes strongly in the power of information and how education ties into the discourse of empowerment. She hopes to draw a deeper knowledge around how businesses can be developed to have a more positive impact on society. Vandana holds a degree in Social Policy from the University of Bristol in the UK. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she hopes to influence national policy in Mauritius and foster an environment in which the government and the people communicate freely.
