Victorine Kambe Sarr

2015 Fellow from Senegal

Victorine Sarr had more than eight years of corporate experience in companies such as Apple and L’Oréal before starting her own cosmetics company in 2015. Currently, she is founder and chief executive officer of Lyvv Cosmetics, a beauty company that focuses on cosmetics for women of color and that fights skin bleaching in Africa. Victorine received a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing, from the Institut Superieur de Gestion Paris. She is committed to changing the way women of color—and society as a whole—perceive beauty. She credits the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, which she received in 2015, with giving her the right tools to improve her soft skills and introducing capacity building into her life.
