Wezizwe Ginindza is an entrepreneur and a program coordinator in a not-for-profit organization in Eswatini. Currently, Wezizwe is founder and director of My Coils (Pty) Ltd., a manufacturer and distributor of organic hair care products. As a program coordinator, she worked closely with a group of women that planned and coordinated community outreach programs, including fundraising. Wezizwe worked predominantly with adolescent girls and young women in communities in Eswatini, educating them on wealth creation methods and developing self-help projects. Wezizwe holds a Master's in Social Science, specializing in Industrial and Economic Sociology. Professionally, she is driven by the role that women and youth can play in Eswatini's socioeconomic development through leadership in business and entrepreneurship. She says that while most businesses focus on the bottom line, My Coils seeks to couple that with community development. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Wezizwe plans to scale up her business using the knowledge, exposure, and network she gained from the program, as well as to create a level of employment security for women and the youth in Eswatini.
