2019 Fellow from Cameroon

Manka’ah Che has more than four years of experience in nutrition program implementation. Manka’ah is founder and coordinator of the Nutrition and Sustainable Development Association, an organization that empowers, engages, and equips communities for sustainable health and development by bridging the health care gap in Cameroon. The association particularly focuses on nutrition, health promotion, and mental health counseling. Manka’ah is also mental health counselor at Doctors Without Borders Bamenda. She has a master’s degree in Applied Nutrition. A 2019 Mandela Washington Fellow, Manka’ah believes the Fellowship enhanced her organization, communication, and project management skills and empowered her to set up several projects for youth in her community, including trainings, conversations, panel discussions, and item donations.
