Zayithwa Fabiano is a medical doctor with over three years of experience in clinical medicine and public health research, focusing on improving health service delivery. Zayithwa holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Malawi's College of Medicine (COM). Currently, she is working as a research scientist for COM, focusing on innovative ways of generating and implementing health promotion education and awareness in Malawi. Zayithwa is committed to improving health service delivery using telemedicine, e-health, m-health, and various multimedia platforms in Malawi. She is driven by her desire to achieve universal health coverage, and ensuring improved access to the required health services, particularly for marginalized populations. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Zayithwa plans to continue her work in developing medical technology and innovations in information to improve health service delivery.
