Zubeir Athman Abubakar is the founder and managing director of Zubeir and Brothers Limited and holds a degree in Architecture from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. His construction company works to employ local community members to uplift living standards. Zubeir also volunteers as a mentor with his community-based organization, Shella Students Welfare. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Zubeir plans to continue growing his company and career in the construction industry with a focus on community development through sustainable construction practices, job creation, and mentorship.
