Fellowship Alumni Selected for 2021 Ford Global Fellowship
Congratulations to the three Fellowship Alumni who have been selected for the 2021 Ford Global Fellowship!
With a $50-million investment over the next 10 years, this program of the Ford Foundation aims to connect and support leaders from around the world who are advancing innovative solutions to end inequality. The program focuses on shared learning across issue areas, building and strengthening connections across borders, and developing a supportive, interconnected cohort from across a wide variety of sectors.
This year, the Ford Foundation welcomed 48 new Fellows, including:
- Murendeni Mafumo, 2014 Fellowship Alumnus, South Africa
- Adebukola “Bukky” Shonibare, 2016 Fellowship Alumna, Nigeria
- Ian Tarimo, 2019 Fellowship Alumnus, Tanzania and 2021 Leadership Impact Award Winner
