Congratulations to our Fellowship Alumni who were named among the 100 most influential Black personalities in the Portuguese-speaking world of 2021!
2017 Alumnus Edson Silva is an award-winning Cabo Verdean rapper and social activist. His music has been an active and powerful voice in defense of social issues, especially in the advocacy of public policies for young people. During his Fellowship, he studied Leadership in Civic Engagement at Wagner College.
2018 Alumna Miriam Livramento is a Cabo Verdean food safety technician and nutrition expert who is passionate about food security and education. During her Fellowship, she studied Leadership in Public Management at Syracuse University and completed a Professional Development Experience at The Food Trust.
