Chibuzor Agomuoh and Teslima Jallow On a Nationwide Project To Promote Peace and Stability In The Gambia
Earlier this year, the Fellowship launched the Leveraging Innovations in New Communities (LINC) Grant, a new funding opportunity for Fellowship Alumni to travel to each other’s countries and collaborate. 2018 Fellowship Alumni Chibuzor Agomuoh of Nigeria and Teslima Jallow of The Gambia were among the inaugural cohort to receive a LINC Grant, during which Chibuzor traveled The Gambia to co-facilitate peace advocacy and conflict resolution trainings for nearly 200 youth from conflict-prone regions. Having first met during their Leadership Institute at Appalachian State University, Teslima and Chibuzor plan to continue training youth in The Gambia and Nigeria. Well done, Teslima and Chibuzor!
