Fellowship Alumni Selected for 2022 AEIF Grants

Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund

Congratulations to the Fellowship Alumni whose projects were selected for 2022 Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) grants! Sixty-seven (67) Fellowship Alumni, representing 28 teams and 24 countries, were chosen.

This year, the U.S. Department of State hosted its 12th annual AEIF competition, so far selecting 142 teams out of 241 applicants, with 482 Exchange Alumni representing 109 countries around the world. U.S. Embassies and Consulates worldwide work with alumni to submit proposals to the Office of Alumni Affairs, in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.

Since its inception in 2011, AEIF has funded more than 600 alumni-led projects around the world. AEIF supports alumni initiatives that promote shared values and innovative solutions to regional and global challenges.
