In honor of International Exchange Week, Kansas State University and the Staley School of Leadership Studies presented 2019 International Innovative Educator of the Year award to the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. The award recognizes an organization that excels in promoting international initiatives. Since 2016, the Mandela Washington Fellowship has partnered with Kansas State University for their Leadership in Civic Engagement Institute.
