Abdoulaye Diallo

2016 Fellow from Guinea

Abdoulaye Diallo has over 14 years of experience in health, education, child protection, youth and women's empowerment initiatives, and program administration.  Abdoulaye is currently the director of programs and sponsorship at the ChildFund Guinea Country Office, where he is responsible for strategic planning and implementation; project management and coaching; resource mobilization for financial health; program model customization; program monitoring, evaluation, and learning; sponsorship enrollment and management; advocacy; partnership and network development; and knowledge management, learning, and collaboration.  He is a member of Rotary International and works with local civil society organizations to develop and implement advocacy and youth civic engagement initiatives.  Abdoulaye holds a master's degree in public health intervention and promotion and is currently pursuing a PhD in public health administration.  Abdoulaye is committed to improving the lives of underprivileged, excluded, and vulnerable children, women, and families.  He credits the Mandela Washington Fellowship with inspiring him to become a leader able to impact communities and influence decision-makers.
