Abiodun Essiet has over five years of experience in public administration and development. Currently, Abiodun is a senior special assistant to the President of Nigeria on community engagement at the statehouse, where he serves as a liaison between the federal government and local communities, ensuring that the government's policies and initiatives are effectively implemented at the grassroots level. Abiodun holds a master's degree in public health and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in international development. She is committed to including vulnerable communities in government programs. Abiodun credits the Mandela Washington Fellowship for teaching her about public administration.
