Abiola Peter Adetunji has over ten years of experience in the production of indigenous superfoods and natural beverages. Currently, Abiola is the managing director of Peadet Natural Foods Limited, a company that focuses on naturopathic diets, food security, and job creation. His vast experience in developing innovative brands from natural honey, cocoa, and especially fonio and finger millet, a relatively unknown local millet species with superior nutrition profile, has earned him international recognition. Abiola is the recipient of a Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment grant under the Growth and Employment project funded by The World Bank. Abiola holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomoso. He is committed to improving public health through indigenous superfoods with the specific goal of boosting food security in Nigeria by 20%. Abiola aims to alleviate hunger, curb malnutrition in children, and create over 5,000 jobs by 2030. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Abiola plans to develop world-class multigrain superfood brands and set up a global online business growth platform.
