Topou Akouavi is a student at the University of Lome, majoring in American Civilization. Topou was a selected fellow in the first YALI Regional Leadership program in Accra. She is the Assistant Secretary of Grain De Sel Inc Togo, an organization which aims to promote higher education in Togo. Akouavi is currently the founder and National Coordinator of Patriotes Togo, an organization that promotes patriotism, selfless leadership, and volunteerism in Togo. Her passion is to fight against child labor and provide educational and other support for street children in Togo. She will provide funding for this through the incomes of her business organization, NORA Shop which provides catering services for special events.
