Amara Chineme

Amara Chineme has more than five years of experience in human resource management and is a certified healthcare supplier in Kenya. Amara is founder and chief executive officer of Joymed Healthcare, a medical supplies wholesaling business that focuses on distributing affordable, high-quality, nonpharmaceutical products, medical equipment, healthcare consulting, and other medical services within hospitals, clinical laboratories, and research institutions. Amara is also the coordinator of the community programs of the Children's Home Visit Department with Smile Changers Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to oral health awareness. She is a mentor and moderator with the Women In Africa Initiative, with the Jamii Femme and WIA540 initiatives that impact women in Nigeria, Kenya, and Côte d'Ivoire. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Amara plans to leverage the key values and connections across multinational organizations and the Fellowship community to implement her ideas with friendly and exciting entities that will use her true potential to benefit mutual growth and success. She endeavors to work with multiple initiatives that aim to increase the impact of African entrepreneurs in a struggling African economy.
