Angelique Ingabire

2018 Fellow from Rwanda

Angélique Ingabire has five years of experience in the community development sector, focusing on capacity-building and leadership initiatives in public health and agriculture. Angélique currently is scaling up PlayGrow, an initiative she founded to bridge communication gaps and engage parents in discussions with adolescents to increase life skills. Angélique holds a master’s degree in Integrated Management of Health Risks in the Global South from the University of Liège in Belgium, where she focused on addressing health risk challenges in a variety of contexts. She is committed to promoting livelihood, skills development, and social justice for disadvantaged youth and women. Angélique credits the Mandela Washington Fellowship, which she received in 2018, with improving her skills in civic engagement and expanding her professional connections.
