Angella Kyomugisha

2021 Fellow from Uganda

Angella Kyomugisha is a social entrepreneur who, for more than six years, has been building impact-focused businesses that aim to lift smallholder farmers out of poverty. With a background in economics, statistics, and project management, Angella is currently the chief executive officer of AgNmo, developing strategy and designing the company's flagship range of crop-monitoring devices. Angella has previously worked in the banking, telecommunications, and public sectors and currently holds the rotating board chair at Delight Children's Health Rights Initiative. Angella is also a fervent advocate for minority and disability rights. On completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Angella intends to use the newly acquired skills and knowledge to assist smallholder farmers and advocate for the rights of minorities and those with disabilities.
