Boubacar Mahmoud

2022 Fellow from Mauritania

Boubacar Mahmoud has more than three years of experience on the Kiffa Regional Council. Currently, Boubacar is founder and chief executive officer of OBS, a language and vocational training institute. Boubacar holds a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Nouakchott University. He is highly motivated to participate in reducing Mauritania's unemployment rate. Boubacar believes that every positive action can make a difference, and he is committed to using his experience and skills to serve his community. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Boubacar plans to take his business to the next level. He plans to provide good and equal training that matches the market needs, which will enable students at his institute to start their businesses immediately after graduation.
