Dr. Chidzani Catherine Mbenge has four years of experience as a clinician in Botswana, and national non-communicable diseases master trainer. She is currently completing her Master in Medicine specializing in Public Health Medicine at the University of Botswana with an interest in non-communicable diseases, and health system strengthening. She is a student mentor through Bound by Love and is involved with community development projects in her home village with the Mathangwane Train organization. Dr. Mbenge obtained her medical degree from the University of Melbourne in Australia. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Dr. Mbenge will continue her work in preventive medicine, medical research, and health education.
