Chiedza Media Makwara is an entrepreneur, author, and talk show host. She is the current managing director of Charlie Stevens International, a logistics company she co-founded. The organization focuses on customs clearing, forwarding, warehousing, and tariffing import and export products in and out of Zimbabwe. Chiedza is an author of best-selling novel Bongile: Journey to Redemption, a book that touches on social issues affecting women. Her passion for telling stories and advocating for female empowerment led her to expand her talk show to include a panel that focuses on societal issues. The panel discusses topics on gender-based violence, gender stereotypes, and gender inclusion in the workspace. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Chiedza plans to expand Charlie Stevens International by introducing technological solutions to make tracking and logistics more effective, as well as planning to showcase her book as musical theatre production to expand her reach and influence on societal issues.
