Chimdi Neliaku

2023 Fellow from Nigeria

Chimdi Neliaku has more than 10 years of experience as a lawyer, policy researcher and analyst, government affairs specialist, alternative dispute resolution professional, public relations practitioner, and youth leadership development expert. As a senior consultant, she focuses on supporting public sector clients. She leads public affairs at Rightangle PR and legislative affairs and at CAPPS Consult, serves as the program manager of the Legislative Mentorship Initiative, and serves as the programs director of the Leadership Advancement Foundation. Chimdi holds a Master of Laws in International Commercial Law and is the curator-elect of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community, Abuja Hub. She is passionate about solving complex policy and governance problems in Nigeria and Africa through innovative thinking, multisectoral approaches, and strategic system design. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Chimdi plans to use the knowledge, relationships, and skills she acquires to strengthen Nigerian and African policy frameworks and institutions, while advocating for regional collaboration at the highest levels of government.
