Denaya Dennis Manoah Nigo

2019 Fellow from South Sudan

Denaya Dennis has more than five years of experience in the tech business. He is currently monitoring and evaluation officer at Action for Recovery and Transformation and team leader for Alela Technologies. His focus is on information systems and technical support services. He founded the Koneta Initiative, which provides a digital platform that helps young women and men to learn soft skills to support their day-to-day business activities and build their leadership capacities. Denaya holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Juba in South Sudan. He is passionate about digital literacy and entrepreneurship and willing to share his knowledge and experiences with others. Denaya credits the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, which he received in 2019, with teaching him that success is not earned while sleeping, but by hard work as an entrepreneur.
