El Hadji Malick Badji, also known as Milcos, is a software engineer, designer, and the founder of Nio Far by Milcos, a Senegalese fashion brand creating clothing, bags, shoes, and accessories. It is the first West African brand to create handmade sneakers with mud cloth and leather from local craftsmen. As an engineer, he works as an information technology (IT) manager for the Citizen Media Group and IT consultant for Enda Santé, an NGO, and the National Commission for Personal Data Protection. He co-founded peuplesenegalais.net, a webzine that promotes culture. He is also a member of Dakarlives, a platform that promotes Senegal and its culture.
