Fontaine Bizimana

Fontaine Kalisa has over three years of experience in community works. He currently works as the Education Manager at Coburwas International Youth Organization to Transform Africa (CIYOTA) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo under the Youth Department. CIYOTA is a non-profit organization that seeks to unite, develop and transform African communities by empowering young people through education, socially responsible leadership, entrepreneurship, and active non-violence. He is a Co-founder of Jered, a youth organization that advocates for women's rights and helps victims of violence and young mothers build a hopeful life for themselves and for their children despite the difficult situations endured.Fontaine graduated in General Pedagogy from high school and holds an undergraduate certificate in English and African Literature. Upon completion of Mandela Washington Fellowship, Fontaine plans to establish Youth Center for Change, where young people will acquire skills that will enable them discover their potential, who they really are, and what they can do to shape their future and become social transformative leaders in the community.
