Frankie Maston

2023 Fellow from Tanzania

Frank Maston Migambile, popularly known as Frankie Maston, has more than seven years of experience in the music and creative arts industry in Tanzania and is currently a lead singer, songwriter, and events curator who focuses on creating safe spaces and collaborative platforms for young creative people to express themselves through art. Frankie uses talent, platform, and influence to shine a light on diversity in Tanzania and to represent the LGBTQI+ community while attracting more positive visibility. Frankie holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing and is motivated to learn more about the music business and talent management, to network with key industry movers and shakers, and become a better art activist through music. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Frankie plans to inspire and create a more inclusive ecosystem in the music industry in Tanzania, which will nurture young talent and open doors for artists to express themselves creatively and participate in the global space.
