Frederico P. Silva, former country manager at LG Electronics, has over six years' experience in the field of sales and marketing. Over the past three years, he has become a social entrepreneur in the field of ICT4D and co-founded an award-winning start-up named UX, where he acts as the CEO and is in charge of business development as well as the management of a team of five staff (with three direct reports). Frederico holds a BBA in Marketing Management from the IMM Graduate School of Marketing, South Africa. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, he intends to continue his work as a social entrepreneur, addressing some of the country's most pressing issues including employability, education, and financial inclusion.
