Gift Udoh has more than five years of experience in agriculture. Currently, she is founder and chief executive officer of Norina Farms, a company focused on reducing agrochemical poisoning for rural farmers and consumers and mitigating postharvest losses. She also volunteers to link young graduates to farms so that they can learn practical agriculture. Gift holds a bachelor’s degree in Zoology and Environmental Biology. She is driven to reduce agricultural hazards after experiencing pesticide poisoning and seeing a rural farmer lost to agrochemical poisoning. Gift credits the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, which she received in 2019, with allowing her to meet, learn from, and work with professionals in agricultural health and safety in the United States.
