Dr. Hamza Asumah has over eight years of experience in medicine as a medical doctor, private health practitioner, and specialist surgeon. Currently, Hamza serves as the medical director of Abenkyiman Hospital and as the managing director of Halo Medical Services ' Ghana (HMSGhana), a medical consulting firm that eliminates the distance between patient and healthcare service provider through technology. HMSGhana aims to improve the quality of private healthcare delivery to rural areas through the adoption and implementation of institution best practices. Hamza holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, a dual Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and a certificate from the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons. Hamza is committed to ensuring comprehensive, convenient, and high-quality healthcare throughout Ghana. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Hamza plans to use the knowledge acquired to expand upon this vision.
