Ijeoma Idika-Chima has 10 years' experience as a certified child protection officer, educator, and media and development specialist, working with youth on access to education, information literacy, skills development, human capital development, gender, and cultural and peacebuilding efforts in Africa. Her expertise includes program design and implementation, resource mobilization, policy advocacy, fundraising, organizational management, media content production, and broadcast journalism. Currently, Ijeoma serves as the global programs and policy director for Teenz Global Foundation, which has impacted over 50,000 youth across 17 countries through its programs. Ijeoma has earned recognition from both Nigerian and U.S. presidents for her work, and she credits the Mandela Washington Fellowship with giving her the capacity to expand her existing projects and achieve greater impact.
