Ina Traore

2022 Fellow from Cote d'Ivoire

Ina Mariama Traore is a mining and geology engineer from the Higher School of Mines and Geology at the Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Yamoussoukro. She works as a process engineer within the engineering department of Société Ivoirienne de Raffinage and has more than 11 years of experience in her field. Ina is developing her communication and public speaking skills with Toastmasters International, and is also pursuing an international certificate in Corporate Finance at Columbia Business School. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Ina plans to create a project management office that will help companies in the energy field make sure they make good investments and help them reach their goals by undertaking profitable projects. She hopes to increase access to energy and to integrate renewable energy in Africa.
