Jean Claude Muhire is a Rwandan social entrepreneur and humanitarian activist with over five years of experience improving the well-being of vulnerable populations through education, peace-building, and advocacy. Currently, Jean Claude is the founder and president of Love the Kids Rwanda Organization, a non-profit organization that provides children from disadvantaged backgrounds with access to quality education via scholarships, promotes community acceptance, and improves childhood development. Jean Claude is also a published author, film producer, community peer educator, and gender equality advocate. He has received several recognitions for his work, including the 2019 Laureate of the French Government's Human Rights Prize, the Africa Youth Awards 2016 Leader of the Year, the International Winner of the 2015 Global Dialogues Contest, and the 2016 Queen's Young Leaders Awards Runner-Up. Jean Claude is committed to promoting the rights of women and children to bring about sustainable development in his community. He credits the Mandela Washington Fellowship as a valuable source of knowledge and skills that have helped develop him as a leader and positively impact lives.
