Joan Enoh Tata

2019 Fellow from Cameroon

Joan Enoh is a healthcare activist and entrepreneur with over eight years of experience in health systems strengthening. She is the founder and managing director of St. Therese Medical Services Ltd., a company focused on strengthening the healthcare system of Cameroon through service provision, resource generation, and research. Joan has specific expertise in HIV/AIDS care and treatment; through her implementation of a PEPFAR-funded project, she provides technical assistance to health facilities to deliver optimal care to people living with HIV/AIDS in Cameroon. Joan holds a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Yaounde I in Cameroon, with a focus on National Health Programs and Policies. She is strongly committed to social justice and hopes to one day witness a world where everyone has access to healthcare. Joan credits the Mandela Washington Fellowship with building her technical skills in business strategy development and marketing, as well as exposing her to a wide network of other business owners.
