Josaphat Tjiho

2019 Fellow from Namibia

Josaphat Tjiho is a freelance actor with over eight years of experience in acting, theatre directing, and scriptwriting. He holds a performing arts degree from the College of the Arts Namibia and works part-time as the chapter coordinator for the Internet Society Namibia. As an artist and human rights activist, Josaphat raises youth awareness through theatre performances and Internet-based communication platforms. He is a board member of Wilderness Therapy Namibia and the SADC Youth Network. Josaphat is driven by his passion for community and youth development. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Josaphat plans to use the skills and knowledge gained to continue with this advocacy work in Namibia through arts and ICT.
