Julius Ilori

2023 Fellow from Nigeria

Julius Ilori has more than five years of experience in nonprofit management. Currently, Julius is the founder and chief executive officer of the Learners Corner education technology hub, a startup that focuses on democratizing access to quality education through e-learning. He has volunteered with several nongovernmental organizations that are working to achieve sustainable development goals. Julius has a higher national diploma in Business Administration and Management from Yaba College of Technology. His experience growing up in the Ajegunle slums in Lagos has inspired him to improve the quality of education for schoolchildren in Nigeria. He strongly believes all children should have access to a high-quality education to help them achieve their full potential. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, he plans to build more local education technology centers to promote access to quality education and also to continue to empower the teacher workforce in Africa.
