Keenese Neoyame Katisenge

2019 Fellow from Botswana

Keenese Katisenge is marketing executive at the Associated Fund of Administrators Botswana. She is also an advocate for women and girls in sports and chairs the Botswana Sports Volunteer Movement. As chair of the Botswana National Sports Commission’s Equity and Recreation Committee, she influences inclusive policy development. In addition, Keenese is a member of the Executive Committee of Women and Sports Botswana, where she advocates for a safe and conducive environment for girls in sports. Keenese has established Limitless Minds Chess Academy, an organization that contributes to the development, empowerment, and social inclusion of children living with disabilities through chess. Keenese holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Botswana, a postgraduate certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from the Botswana Accountancy College, a certificate in Business Leadership from Lehigh University, and a certificate in Digital Transformation from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. A 2019 Mandela Washington Fellow, she enjoys mentoring to youth. Keenese believes in maintaining a good affinity with all stakeholders in a community, including the media, and has an innate ability to garner public support for the organizations she serves.
