Kelvin Kotey Ashie has more than six years of experience in technology entrepreneurship and business consulting. Currently, Kelvin is co-founder and chief strategy officer at Health Direct Global, a health technology company focused on increasing access, reducing costs, and improving care and patient outcomes through an on-demand platform connecting users to healthcare providers and affordable payment plans. Kelvin is an innovation consultant and shares his expertise with other entrepreneurs, businesses, and organizations. Kelvin is a member of the Global Shapers Accra Hub, where he serves as impact officer and incoming curator. He has also been a part of teams that have implemented projects and initiatives in entrepreneurship and employment, mental health, and climate and the environment, as well as gender, diversity, and inclusion. Kelvin has an academic background in Technology and Entrepreneurship from the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology and holds a bachelor's degree in Construction Technology and Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Kelvin is passionate about leveraging technology and entrepreneurship to solve problems, build sustainable businesses, and create lasting change. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Kelvin plans to offer innovative solutions that improve livelihoods, create wealth, and bring economic transformation.
