Ketline Delcy dos Reis Cabral Semedo is a government worker with more than six years of experience in medical imaging, public health, and justice. She currently works for the Ministry of Justice, and is also the coordinator of student orientation and external relations for Associação Maracanã in Cabo Verde. As an anticrime advocate, Ketline works to reduce the increasing crime rate and to prevent vandalism among youth by designing and coordinating innovative strategies and policies in the education system. She has a degree in Medical Imaging and Radiophysics, and has regional experience in public health medical imaging under the West African Health Organization through the Young Professional Internship program. Ketline believes education can prevent crime in any community; after completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, she plans to continue to guide youth in their education journeys through her work in the Cabo Verde education and justice systems.
